Snabdough Farm in Northumberland is situated five miles from Kielder Water, with its many attractions.

Kielder Water boasts a cycle path - 27 miles around the Dam, where one can walk or catch the ferry to various parts.

There is a very good bird of prey centre - a visit here is worth it.

The main attraction of Kielder is the vast selection of water sports and fishing on the lake. There is also an observatory, which is very popular with star gazers.

We are 20 minutes from the infamous Hadrian’s Wall and also the town of Hexham where you will find a wide variety of small shops.

40 minutes away is Rothbury, Upper Coquetdale (Alwinton) and Cragside. Cragside is home to the infamous Cragside Hall with impending gardens and house.

Bellingham is 4 miles away and boasts an 18 hole golf course. A peaceful walk to Hareshaw Lynn offers places to have an evening meal.

Newcastle & Gateshead is over an hour away and offers a multitude of boutiques, cosmopolitan shops, cafes and nightlife. The Sage, The Baltic and Millennium Bridge are just a few of the tourist destinations to visit when wandering around the area.
