About us

Snabdough Farm is a 750 acre working farm in Tarset, Northumberland with both cattle and sheep. The fields go down to the river, where you can walk, sit by the river (seat provided) and watch the wild life.

We have mallard duck, water hens, oyster catchers, kingfishers, herons and gooseanders.

We have ½ a mile of private fishing - salmon/sea trout and trout (when in season).

The hill part is very picturesque when you climb to the highest part you can view the valley below, with the North Tyne river winding its way south towards Bellingham.

From all bedroom windows you have a lovely view to the hills and the fields down to the river.

The garden is very picturesque in Summer, with the colourful borders, lawn and fishpond. The vegetable patch is very prolific with potatoes, sprouts, cabbage and turnips. Home grown tomatoes are used for breakfasts!
